Pachamanca dinners al fresco

our sister and her partner run some of the most respected restaurants in somerville, celeste., and cambridge, la royal. This season they will again open up their home in Andover, Vermont, for a series of outdoor cooking and eating extravagances, called esmeralda. You can learn more about it here. On friday there is dinner and on saturday there is the pachamanca (all your food will get cooked in a traditional pit). You can sign up for just one or both and make a weekend of it.

it’s about a 45-1 hour drive through gorgeous vermont hills and small towns, On that day, maria and juanma will cook everything inside a pit in the ground while 30 or so guests hang-out, drink pisco, watch the cooking and preparing process and eat like crazy. Having been to a few of these, I can attest that The company is as good as the food. Spend the rest of the weekend in woodstock, walking around, shopping, eating and enjoying vermont. It is epic!

We love to host people in conjunction with their attendance to esme, but unfortunately we have sold all of our stay + eat packages for this year!
